Quotations
The proposal total is subject to the final design and schedule of finishes. QUOTATIONS ARE STRICTLY VALID UNTIL THE EXPIRY DATE. Pricing may change if the quotation is accepted after the expiry date term and will be requoted to add or remove these cost accordingly. Design fee deducted from final cost if you choose to work with us. Please note that consultation prices are inclusive of GST.
Timing
If you decide to proceed with the project after your consultation please note that there will most likely be a delay before your project is started. We are currently booked out until 2022.
Revisions
Onsite or Showroom Consultation with Plan View Concepts - 2 minor revisions included (major revisions will be charged at $100.00 + GST per hour)
Onsite or Showroom Consultation with Detailed Shop Drawings - 3 minor revisions included (major revisions will be charged at $100.00 + GST per hour)
Onsite or Showroom Consultation with Plan View Concepts & 3D Renders - 4 minor revisions included (major revisions will be charged at $100.00 + GST per hour)
warranties & guarantees
All hardware comes with a lifetime warranty product replacement for the original purchaser (non-electrical products only and does not include installation). 7 years Manufacturers Warranty on all joinery. 10 year Guarantee on all work completed. Stone products offer warranties to clients if they register their batch online or by phone. 12 months warranty on manufacturing and installation of stone as standard. If a crane or manitou is needed to deliver and install stone benchtops this will be at the client's expense. G&M can arrange this with the masons or the client is free to do so themselves.
payment terms
Payment Breakdown:
10% Deposit – This is required for booking the project into our calendar.
50% Manufacture – This is required once the plans are approved and prior to manufacturing. This covers us for the materials and labour required to prepare the project for installation.
30% Installation - This is required once the project is ready for dispatch and installation. This also covers the scheduling and deposits for all trades contracted by G&M to measure once we have completed our installation eg. Stone Masons, Glaziers, Stainless Steel, Porcelain etc
10% Completion – This is required once the project is completed and signed off by the client and/or Contractor
ONCE YOU HAVE CONFIRMED OR SIGNED OFF ON YOUR PLANS FOR MANUFACTURE YOU ARE ACKNOWLEDGING THAT YOU UNDERSTAND THEM.
We recommend asking any clarifying questions or making any changes prior to this as once approved any changes thereafter will be charged as a variation and will also add to the project lead time. All variations will be charged in full upon confirmation. Variations may cause a delay in production and time frames will be updated accordingly. Any trades or subcontractors that require a deposit for works to be done will be directly charged to the client on top of progress payments and amended at the completion of the project. Our aim at G&M is to give you the very best service you deserve. As a part of this, we encourage you to balance your invoices within 7 DAYS. The penalty for late payment is 10%. This will result in us providing the service you deserve. Whilst unlikely, event production and installation times may change due to material shortage, supplier delay and existing project delays. Payments can be made via Direct Deposit or Card facilities (1.3% surcharge applies for Visa and Mastercard, 1.5% surcharge applies for AMEX, can only be processed in the shop). Card payments via Stripe online will be charged accordingly. Sorry, no cheques accepted. QBCC Insurance included if applicable (not included if contracted through builder or owner-builder). No allowance for any other trades including range hood ducting if applicable unless specified in the proposal as being included. No allowance for removal of existing joinery unless requested and allowed for in quotation. No allowance to remove or move existing appliances unless requested and allowed for in quotation.
Whilst all care is taken when completing renovation works G&M is not responsible for any damage done if a pre-existing issue occurs. G&M does its best to assess the works and give the best advice before commencing to help assist in the best results for the client. G&M is happy to assist with any extra works needed to fix problems that occur due to pre-existing issues or conditions.
