Do you charge a design fee?

Not at all. Initial consultations are free as we are always happy to help.

How long will the design process take?

Anywhere between 3-5 working days depending on the scale of the project.

Do you do refacing of old or existing kitchens?

Yes we can… we can but they are subject due to inspection. If we deem them to be in good condition, we can warrant our work and complete the project.

Do you make joinery other than kitchens?

Yes we do! We are traditional cabinet makers and joinery in Brisbane and Sunshine Coast and we can design, manufacture and install all elements of joinery.

How much will a new kitchen cost?

On average the recommended price ranges… entry level kitchens 12-18k, medium level kitchens 18-24k and high level 24-30k.

What are your payment terms?

10% Deposit, 50% Manufacture, 30% Installation and 10% Completion. All variations are paid for in full once confirmed. Payment term period is 7 days from invoice issue.

I don’t have a budget? No budget? No problem! We can help guide you in the right direction.

Will I have to leave my home when I do renovations?

We always endeavour to make sure your down time is minimal. Pre-made dinners and take away food all add the experience of a renovation.

Can I make changes to my order or cancel it?

We allow for small changes in our proposal so you have flexibility during your project. Major changes are variations. If you cancel at any stage we are entitled to keep your progress payments at the stage of the project.

Is there a Guarantee on your work and how long does it last?

We offer a 10 year Guarantee and 7 year Warranty on all joinery.

My budget is small can you help me?

We will always endeavour to help anyone with any budget.

Do G&M Craftsman Cabinets organise other trades, such as plumber, electrician etc?

We can recommend qualified tradespeople to help you with other parts of your project.

Can I organise my own trades such as plumber, electrician?

Yes you can.

Do you use your own fitters?

We design, manufacture and install all of our joinery in house with our experienced G&M team.

What do you recommend for the best bench top material?

Depending on budget we only use the highest quality products and materials.

Do I need to get my floor done before I get my kitchen done?

Depending on the flooring but we highly recommend and prefer to install on top of the finished floor.

Can I Bring my own kitchen design?

Of course! No one knows how you want your kitchen and kitchen renovations on Sunshine Coast to look better than you. We are here to help polish your design and take it from concept to completion.
