"Make it modern but retro"...

One of our favourite designs to do is to make something look old and new at the same time. The clients wanted their architecturally designed Buderim home to have the modern comforts of today's latest technologies hidden behind design features of retro mid-century era. Soft white concrete bench tops, laminated plywood, matt surfaces and soft-close hardware make this space warm and welcoming. Clever layout design, the latest in hardware and even purpose built draw for your devices helps keep the benchtop clean of clutter. Making the new feel old and old feel new... FUN!

"Modern Queenslander"...

These clients approached us with a love of entertaining, wanting to create a space welcoming enough for all family and friends, adults and kids included. After design consultation we came up with a beautiful modern, fun and inviting space. With a playroom and rumpus room, including hidden TV and lots of storage to keep the kids occupied while the adults enjoy a pizza oven, 2 BBQ's, 2 Bar Fridges and a Wine Cellar, there is something for everyone. The walk in robe features a jewellery display draw for him and her making all of your jewels easy to find and see. Handless details throughout keeping the style modern and classic. The media room featuring a beautiful slatted TV unit with hidden drawers to keep the aesthetic throughout.

Hamptons design is becoming more and more popular with the introduction of American TV renovation shows. The style can range from being simplistic to extravagant and not many styles have this range... the trick is achieve extravagance for a budget!

"What I always wanted"...

One of the greatest pleasures in our job is to produce joinery for a client that has waited many years for what they dream of. When i met the client in our showroom she didn't know where to start... I suggested to spill everything she had out and we will bring all together to make it work in design, colours and practicality.. the most important! Minimalistic design is one of the more complicated designs to achieve as we need to have clean uninterrupted lines that flow through. It needs to feel simple and seamless but feature the latest in hardware, technology, functionality and practicality.

"Suspend the marble"...

What happens when you mix a Queensland style home, angles, minimalistic design and a floating marble benchtop? THIS! We love working with young clients who have a flare for design like we do. We worked together to create a moody, modern and gravity defying design that they can enjoy together or entertain with friends and family. These clients love to cook and the Pitt Gas Cooktop is ideal for the purpose as well as looks fantastic! Two toning colours, mixing timber textures and a heap of the gorgeous White Macabus Marble makes this space personal to the owners and a great talking point when they are entertaining.

This project was one of my favourites to date. The client had given me complete freedom to design a featured kitchen that was big on functionality, practicality and entertainment as much as it was big in design. The mixture of dark timber grain, high-end appliances, LED lighting and minimalistic lines all came together in this stunning, show-stopping kitchen.
